eventabee installs like any Shopify app, with one important difference: it isn’t embedded inside Shopify Admin. The dashboard is a standalone analytics tool that lives at its own domain. Installation still begins in Shopify.
1. Install from the Shopify App Store
While eventabee is in beta we send a direct install link. Click it from a browser signed in to the target store. Shopify takes you through the standard install consent screen.
2. Grant the requested scopes
eventabee requests the scopes it needs to read orders, customers, checkouts, and products (for event enrichment), plus the Web Pixel and Theme App Extension scopes so the browser-side components can be installed.
If you install as a non-owner staff account, Shopify will ask the store owner to approve. Plan for a few minutes here if that’s your situation.
3. Open the dashboard
After Shopify redirects you back, you’ll land at the eventabee dashboard at a subdomain like app.eventabee.com. Sign in with the store owner email on first visit; we’ll send a magic link.
4. Verify your store
On the dashboard’s home screen you should see your shop domain and the current event ingest state (“Awaiting events” until the pixel and banner are installed).
